Hello. goodbye.

I'm misaki.
fully Japanese but I've lived in England since I was 6 months old, so I'm pretty British in the inside.
Fashion & literature are my lifeblood!

updates and exams bleurgh!

My gosh, I was accepted into a course at a University in Tokyo!
Now this is pretty big news for me and I’m slightly worried and excited at the same time.

Yes yes I am Japanese so I really shouldn’t feel so daunted but as I’ve mentioned before I’ve never lived there! It’ll be such an experience learning about my birth country and its culture!

Just felt like updating on here, I’m planning on using this like it’s my diary (well at least I want to…)

AHH :D
Anyway, let’s see what’s been happening in my life recently?

Really, tbh my life right now is pretty dull, what with exams being just round the corner. eek the thought of them really does make me feel slightly ill!
The thought of an extra long summer holiday is the only thing keeping me sane haha!
I’ve always wondered how exams/university entry works in other countries. In England, we apply to universities then wait for them to give us offers (if they like us!) and then take our A levels in the summer term. If we get the offer grades we get in and start uni from september/october.

But I hear most countries don’t have this odd university application process and this is what confuses me, do students just go in and take exams at each individual university?

hmm..

Well either way, I guess exams are an universal back pain for students my age. I hear older people saying how exams used to be easier in their times and this makes me wonder if these exams will just get harder and harder for every generation, and if so how hard will they be for students in, say, 50 years time?

Contemplative rant about the existence of exams, I think you can tell I’m fed up of them. wahh!

my summer bucket list
